About our Endura Products Division We are excited to welcome Endura to the Masonite family in 2023. The company is a leading innovator and manufacturer of high-performance door frames and door system components, operating out of four facilities in NC, TX and OR. Overview: Assists the Supervisor in directing and coordinating activities of the Line #2 production department(s), in processing materials or manufacturing products in a wood industrial organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. What you will do: Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations. Maintain clean, safe, orderly work area. Good housekeeping is required. Helps carryout production operation plans, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications. Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Review production orders each morning and check resource material to determine what material may be used for the day’s orders Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards. Submits worker issues or concerns to Production Supervisor for action. Compiles production data What you will need: Preferably two years or more experience in a manufacturing setting HS Diploma or GED preferred Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Use a computer to read order specifications, update databases, and retrieve/update data as required. Able to accurately take measurements using a tap measure and calipers. Use hand tools, and push carts in a safe and efficient manner. Ability to lift up to 35lbs. Ability to read, follow, and understand work instructions from both written and verbal sources and basic writing skills.
