What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Sales Representative - AMS position at Enerflex Ltd?
Summary
The purpose and function of the Inside Parts Sales Representative position is to provide customer service for all assigned customers on parts needs. Providing sales quotations as requested via phone, fax, or email. To ensure that sale orders are coordinated in such a manner as to ensure the integrity of Enerflex Energy Systems, Inc. Sales Order Processing procedures. The primary function of this position is to generate sales growth through product knowledge, customer service and following up on sales quotation/orders through the invoicing stage.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Take incoming calls, assessing the customer’s needs and providing prompt and positive responses to the customer’s commercial and technical inquiries through outsourcing, estimating and accurately quoting jobs.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with customers to grow business and meets customer’s needs.
- Entering and expediting purchase orders in SAP to insure timely delivery of parts to customers.
- Must have basic industry knowledge and product specification and application.
- Communicate all backorder to customers. Source alternatives on parts delays to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Shall assist in the invoicing.
- Shall assist with creating Spare Parts Orders.
- Shall track open orders and review WIP and Accounts Receivables for cleanup / monitoring of open parts orders and past due invoices.
- Provide back-up coverage during vacations and shortages.
- Interact with company departments to obtain and transmit information to customers.
- This position will be required to be involved in the “on-call’ weekend rotation with other members of the parts department.
- This position will require direct communication with the shipping and receiving department regarding incoming and outgoing shipping requirements set forth by customer requirements.
- This position will require ongoing training on various product lines supported by EFX and web tool applications.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have basic industry knowledge and product specification and application.
Physical Requirements
- Combination of field and general office environments with tasks requiring a high degree of time sensitivity
- Domestic travel may be required
- Frequently required to work non-business hours including evenings and weekends
