POSITION SUMMARY
We are searching for a candidate for our Project Manager position in Greenville, SC. The Project Manager will play an important role in overseeing the successful execution of material handling and storage solution projects. This role’s responsibilities will include organizing project tasks, coordinating with various stakeholders, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, design, manufacturing, site management, and engineering, to ensure projects are executed smoothly and meet customer satisfaction. This candidate will excel in communicating effectively, solving problems quickly, and leading collaborative efforts to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Validate the scope of work for assigned projects.

Review and confirm project design requirements with external customers and the internal design team.
- Coordinate material procurement to meet project specifications.

Conduct pre-fabrication meetings to review project specifications, fabrication requirements, and inspection criteria.

Prioritize manufacturing work orders based on project phasing.

Communicate and coordinate installation milestones with customers, internal stakeholders, and installers.

Visit installation sites to meet with installer crews to review layout and inspection requirements.

Track and update project schedules and budgets.

Communicate effectively and address potential issues that deviate from the original project plan.

Offer engineering solutions to customers to ensure project success.

Support operations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Continuously manage project budgets throughout the entire lifecycle, including conducting weekly budget reviews and touch-base meetings with the project team.

Emphasize scheduling, customer relationship building, and meticulous tracking of project milestones.

Coordinate effectively with vendors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Utilize negotiation skills to engage with customers regarding change orders, additional scope of work, and agreements with vendors and subcontractors.

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING

Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

Willingness to travel up to 40% for job-site visits and meetings.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required.
