In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development and implementation of training programs for field personnel engaged in utility locating. The Specialist of Field Training will work closely with field teams, utilizing their expertise to enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce. Responsibilities: Field Training Delivery: Conduct hands-on training sessions for field staff, covering topics such as utility mapping, equipment operation, safety procedures, and industry best practices. Mentorship and Support: Provide ongoing mentorship and support to field personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Training Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for field personnel involved in utility locating. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all field training activities adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards. Curriculum Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and update training materials to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies. Performance Assessment: Implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and individual performance, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with operations and safety teams to identify training needs and address specific challenges in the field. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. One year or more of proven experience in utility locating or a similar field, with proven high quality results. Willingness to do overnight travel as needed. (up to 50%) Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, both in terms of performance and attitude.
