Responsibilities:
Communicate, both orally and in written format, the expected gains from the application of proposed technologies, monitoring their validation throughout the implementation of the Energy Efficiency plan.
Create and present scenarios, graphs, and tables for reports, enabling strategic decision-making in global meetings and product committees to achieve set goals.
Provide support in diagnosing pre-certification results for Gas Emissions, Fuel Consumption, Electric Energy Consumption, and Range, particularly for the US and North America market.
Contribute to convergence groups on simulation methodologies, aiding the evolution of virtual and experimental validation tools within the Stellantis group to reduce consumption and enhance vehicle performance.
Conduct vehicle performance modeling and simulation for launch and capability maneuvers as per client processes and test procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Computer Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited university.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with EPA fuel economy regulations and procedures, with previous academic or professional exposure.
Knowledge of hybrid powertrain technology and fuel economy considerations, with previous academic or professional exposure.
Experience in creating virtual models and correlating them to real-world results, with previous academic or professional exposure.
Ability to efficiently manage and process large amounts of data.
