Responsibilities
- Recruits, sources and interviews candidates; provides management with hiring recommendations based on resume submissions, with focus on growing the care-team at a fast pace, without sacrificing quality.
- Assists with administration of company-wide policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements.
- Maintains Employee files/folders and organization charts.
- Coordinates non-care team hiring process, including but not limited to conducting background and reference checks.
- Coordinates programs to attract qualified candidates through the design and placement of position announcements, advertising, and/or participation in job fairs.
- Conducts ongoing information and training sessions to develop employees and provide support and problem resolution.
- Works with the onboarding team to establish best practices for training and onboarding while emphasizing company culture.
- Works with the Director of HR to learn all employee relations activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent,
- 3-5 years experience in corporate Human Resources, with particular strengths focused on recruiting and onboarding, strong preference to those in the tech or healthcare industry
- Proven background of maintaining the utmost ethics with employee confidential information.
- Strong technical capabilities: particularly with HRIS or HCM systems.
- JazzHR ATS experience a plus.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, ever changing, growing startup-type environment.
- Entrepreneurial attitude and focus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflows.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*This position will be remote, but it is preferred that the person live in the New England Region
