What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Staff Nurse position at ENHANCED FAMILY CARE?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct pediatric patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patients' conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and self-care techniques
- Assist with medical procedures such as phlebotomy and IV infusion
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health records systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in occupational health or home care is a plus
