What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Clerk Summer Intern position at Enjet Aero, LLC?
Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description: The Inventory Clerk summer intern is a project-based position. The intern will perform a physical inventory of parts and fixtures, cataloguing and recording all items.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support the Facilities Manager to ensure accurate documentation of parts
- Sort, count, and accurately place items to ensure manufacturing efficiency. (i.e.. Tools, Fixtures, Tooling dies, etc.)
- Identify untagged inventory to ensure systems are updated
- Perform physical identification of parts located throughout our Warehouse
- Stock and inventory packing materials, tools, and supplies
- Follow all safety policies & procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Organized and detail-oriented
- High School Diploma or GED
- High accountability and willingness to own certain aspects of the inventory process
- Demonstrate an ability to quickly identify problems and implement a solution
- Working knowledge of Windows applications (Word and Excel)
- No prior Inventory experience necessary
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Walk/stand consistently
- Climb ladder
