Responsibilities
The Operations Foreman will safely perform and direct all operating functions including operation and maintenance of facility and all equipment in addition to minor pipeline maintenance.
- Direct Shift Operators, I&E and Mechanics daily to perform their duties.
- Ensure accurate measurement of gas into and out of assigned pipeline systems.
- Ensure Maintenance Connection work orders are completed correctly and on time.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and 99% runtime.
- Perform Veriforce OQ training.
- Control operating and maintenance costs within assigned area.
- Ensure that operating and maintenance activities of assigned facilities are performed safely and in accordance with Company procedures/policies and governmental regulations including DOT, PHMSA, LDNR, OSHA, DEQ, etc.
- Ensure that all DOT compliance is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate, supervise, and inspect the construction of facilities in region as assigned.
- Budget submission, management and administration including explanation of variances and reforecasts.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 10 years of experience in pipeline operations and maintenance.
- Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining natural gas pipeline and station facilities.
- Must have Safety as the First Priority.
- Must have people, organization, communication, and task prioritizing skills appropriate for scheduling, supervising, directing, and managing field and contract personnel.
- Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision, subject to being on call.
- Strong English verbal skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Moderate physical activity in outdoor environment.
