Head Host

We’re looking for a Head Host with energy, personality and charm to join our team at Lotti’s.

Lotti's is our buzzing neighbourhood restaurant. The menu features an internationally inspired brasserie style cuisine with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. During the day, Lotti's is a place to meet, relax or work, and from Friday to Sunday the bar plays host to local DJ talent.

Reporting to our Restaurant Manager you will be responsible to provide a naturally friendly, helpful and responsive level of service to all our guests, ensuring they are treated as individuals and will want to return.  

• You're the first face our guests see, and you have your own way of treating them as individuals, making them feel welcome and their stay special - the Hox way
• You will be responsible for organizing the seating plan before service and manage all bookings
• Deal with the coming and going of guests, making sure all bills are correct and contain no surprises
• Work with all our teams to make sure we're always busy and help our Restaurant team with any individual and group bookings, reservation fees.
• You will communicate guests notes and inform to the team/kitchen prior and during service
• Answer phones, sort out requests, give recommendations - you're the one-stop-shop for our guests to turn to
• Lead the team of hosts and create a positive work environment
• You will be responsible of the rota, host hour approval, leading of OPS meeting every week and completing function sheets
• You are fundamental in communication with the kitchen regarding food allergies and special requests
• Always on top of Nifty fifties (spot the monthly Hox hero) and training the team
