Job Summary:
Facilitates & supports environmental, health and safety programs which ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and Company regulations, requirements, and policies. Provides pro-active support to all employees through actions and words. Embraces the values of the EnPro/STEMCO in each of the below responsibilities:

Safety:

Create and distribute site-specific weekly safety briefings.
Help complete EHS Audit Corrective Actions.
Draft and/or update EHS policies and procedures.
Lead audiometric testing program.
Begin reviewing all JHA’s/JES’s from their respective departments.
Weekly review and follow-up of open safety opportunities.
Instruct safety training.
i.e.- Hearing Conservation, Hazard Communication, etc.
Develop quizzes for each safety training topic, along with tracking and filing system.
Conduct new hire onboarding as needed.
Support leadership in developing, communicating, and executing a safety training matrix.
Actively participate on one Safety Action Team with a goal of leading a team
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Introductory knowledge of OSHA requirements
PC Skills – MS Office
Must be good at organizing, time management, and be a self-starter
Ability to communicate effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills- specifically with external vendors/suppliers.
Ability to lift up to 35lbs
Proficient in the setup and operation in multiple areas/machines of manufacturing
Problem solving skills
Frequently required to stand, walk, use of hands including reach
Ability to read and understand basic operating procedures and production requirements
2-5 years of required manufacturing experience
