• Looking for someone with experience working on pipelines e.g. oil and gas, municipal, etc.
• We will take someone who has worked other construction type jobs. Job is PHYSICAL
• We work LONG hours sometimes, and we travel 40 weeks a year.
• Typical week has employee leaving Monday morning and returning Thursday night, but we work weekends occasionally,.
• There’s no hybrid option, they have to relocate (we will provide relocation support)
• They get $25/day food allowance when on the road

About the job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Traditional Pigging Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of pigging operations to clean and maintain pipelines. You will ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures while contributing to the overall success of our pipeline integrity program.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-job briefings to ensure team awareness of hazards, procedures, and emergency plans
• Monitor pigging operations, including pressure gauges, flow rates, and pig passage.
• Handle Hoses, unloading equipment, performing basic tasks including shoveling and some heavy lifting, minimum of 25lbs
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to pigging equipment.
• Equipment disinfection and maintain accurate and detailed records of pigging operations according to APS SOP’s
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of pigging equipment.
• Assist with pipeline inspections and integrity assessments as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in pipeline operations or a related field (preferred).
• Experience with pigging equipment and procedures a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of pipeline safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Frequent overnight travel required
• Valid driver's license (may require specific endorsements depending on location).
• CDL (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
