Enspirit Healthcare is actively seeking an experienced BCBA who can competently and confidently provide clinical instruction and behavior reduction protocols to clients 2- 18 years of age who have been diagnosed with autism. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage a caseload of home-based clients (focused and comprehensive care) in addition to behavior technician guidance/supervision/training, parent coaching, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is willing to model expected programming/behavior protocols to technicians and is comfortable engaging in person with families on a regular basis.
This is a position that can grow into a clinical director or another leadership role within 12 months based on experience with the right candidate, as well as other growth opportunities.
At Enspirit Healthcare, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) leads the provision of high quality clinical services and case management support to individuals enrolled in ABA services and their families. This includes the planning, development, and monitoring of ABA services. The Behavior Analyst is also responsible for the ongoing training and direct supervision of Behavior Technicians (BT) that are on their caseload. The Behavior Analyst will be supervised by a licensed psychologist or licensed psychological associate in accordance with NC Psychology Practice Act.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
· Provide direct behavioral interventions in individual and group sessions.
· Ensure all ethical procedures are met per Enspirit Healthcare policy and the BACB.
· Provide supervision to Behavior Technicians on staff.
o Provide direct supervision for a specified percentage of time of the hours worked by the BT.
o Train each staff member on their client’s individualized treatment plan before services begin.
o Provide ongoing training opportunities to promote BT continued growth and knowledge.
o Implement BT competency assessments.
· Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans (ITP) and behavior programs in accordance with the principles of ABA.
o Monitor and adjust protocols within the ITP throughout treatment period in accordance with the client’s progression.
o Provide ongoing supervision and coaching of treatment protocols to BTs and family members.
o Submit session notes and progress updates in a timely manner.
o Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual paperwork at scheduled times.
· Conduct skill-based assessments and Functional Behavior Assessments.
o VB-MAPP, ABLLS, or other appropriate assessments at intake and every 6 months, thereafter.
o FBA and FA as needed including behavior plan development, coaching and implementation
· Collaboration and continuing education
o Work with varying professionals including doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized goals and checklists.
o Attend family team meetings and agency management meetings.
o Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending conferences, reviewing professional publications, attaining Continuing Education Credits to maintain BCBA certification.
o Conduct in-service trainings as needed.
· Assist in developing organizational structure, culture, and growth
o Participate in team meetings.
o Develop and take on projects to improve client service and satisfaction.
o Participate in internal agency quality review meetings and activities related to state/federal requirements.
o Pursue and build relationships with new referral sources.
o Pursue and develop relationships with potential future team members.
o Participate in community awareness activities and events
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
