About The Role
The QA Manager is responsible for leading the QA team to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before product reaches customers. The incumbent will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying non-conformity issues. S/he will help to establish quality regulations for products by analyzing data in order to develop plans to improve processes and product quality.
- Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues; design, implement and improve company quality standards.
- Appraise customer’s requirements and make sure they are satisfied.
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
- Train, motivate, and coach employees to ensure that standards are met.
- Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
- Execute automated and manual tests to exercise developed products to ensure quality and stability.
- Write test plans for web and mobile products.
- Write and develop automated testing scripts for web and mobile products.
Additional Information
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math or science preferred.
- 3 years of managing product QA; automation a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
- Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.
- Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision.
- Ability to excel on a high-velocity product development team working on multiple projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service, including project status, blockers, and questions.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to seamlessly switch between tasks and projects.
- CI/CD and SQL experience a plus.
