Sr. Production Planner

Summary: Seeking a Senior Production Planner with a focus on production over supply chain/materials to improve service levels and on-time delivery.

Requirements:

• BS Degree highly preferred

• Strong MS Excel skills required for managing large data sets, statistical analysis, and mathematical reasoning

• Solid background in production planning/scheduling

• Experience within a medical device environment is preferred but not required

• Advanced mathematical skills necessary

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Understanding of the basic building blocks of production work scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Manipulate large data sets to adjust planning stocking levels and lot sizing in the plant

• Generate production schedules, daily back-order reports, plans and work orders

• Establish priorities for specific customer orders and coordinate with production supervisors to execute work according to schedules

• Advocate for the customer and improve processes to increase service levels

• Revise schedule based on work order specifications, established priorities, availability or capability of workers, material, machines and equipment

• Confer with Operations Supervisors (Manufacturing, Packaging etc.) to determine progress of work and provide information on changes in processing methods

• Review progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise Customer Service of production delays

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
