JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Lead and manage the development of new marketing and online solutions and services for Entergy that utilize Salesforce platform and technologies. Works across operating business units, and Entergy organizations along with Entergy information technology group to deliver marketing solutions for Entergy residential and corporate customers. Serves as marketing and Salesforce business and thought leader supporting multiple business stakeholders designing business and marketing solutions to achieve business and market objectives.
As an SFMC manager, you will be responsible for understanding and defining the data flows into and outside SFMC, build integrations across platforms with SFMC for smooth campaign flows, troubleshoot any SFMC related queries and act as point of contact for new functionality configuration. Knowledge of single sourcing and advanced Amp Scripting is going to be essential.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Certifications or experience delivering campaigns across a variety of platforms such as Pardot, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Advertising Studio, Marketo, Hubspot, SugarCRM, and others
- Experience with CRM systems, Marketing Automation campaign management tools, Digital Marketing and analytic systems such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and measurement frameworks
- Deep understanding of API and Integration strategies, development methodologies, as well as a demonstrated understanding of modern approaches to Cloud infrastructure, software development, and legacy systems
- Experience working with database technology, as well as business KPIs and analytics and how to measure and analyze them.
- Understanding of data synchronization across cloud platforms to provide 360 degree integration of customer information and communications.
- Experience with Salesforce compatible data measurement and visualization tools to provide analysis and dashboard views.
- Understanding of Salesforce AI capabilities to leverage insights and optimization.
- Skills to develop business cases for new CRM, MA, and Data Analytics initiatives, and to create technical process-mapping that translates to simple business language
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communications and time management skills
- Creativity, and an analytical approach to problem-solving
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Team player mentality and an ability to work well under pressure
- Experience at a Marketing/Advertising Agency preferred
Education required of the position
Bachelor's degree (Required) in business, marketing, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
Experience required of the position
- 8 years of enterprise marketing operations and management experience, including CRM implementation experience with one or more common enterprise software solutions
- 5 years’ experience as a functional Salesforce business architect, business analyst, or consultant in a mid to large sized organization with demonstrated leadership driving an organizational transformation in a matrix organization.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
- At least 3 years' experience using AMP Scripting preferred
- 2 years of responsive HTML coding experience preferred
- Should have the knowledge of building advanced journeys (multi-channel and multi-wave, with data ingestion happening throughout the campaign journey)
- Ability to analyze the campaign requirements and suggest the type of DEs that needs to be used
- Needs to understand the database structure in order to come up with exception handling while Ampscripting
- Advanced knowledge of API based integration using REST and SOAP
- Extended knowledge of Automation Studio
- Knowledge of API based complex flows using Journey Builder
- Ability to work in a high energy, quickly changing, and demanding environment
- Excellent communication, presentation skills in order to interface directly with clients and higher management
Skills and abilities required of the position
- Experience with enterprise integration, and working with different IT groups, and external technology partners
- 3 years of direct experience with Salesforce configuration and development toolsets
- General business and marketing expertise with all Salesforce cloud solutions
- Project Management skills including Agile practices and processes preferred
- Salesforce Mobile design and development practices preferred
Certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
- Salesforce Certifications required
- PMP certification preferred
