What You'll Do: We are currently looking for a Marketing Co-Op Student to join our team! The Marketing Co-op position collaborates with the Digital Marketing team, mainly the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist and the Marketing & Social Media Specialist. Their primary focus will be working on social media, website, and any related online content creation planning and execution. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, creative, and driven to bring their own new ideas and insights based upon their current knowledge of and engagement with social media platforms which could be leveraged with guidance from our Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communications skills with strong attention to detail. They will have both a passion for, and working knowledge of, various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok regarding various types of content and format. This person will work alongside the bank's Digital Marketing team in our fast-paced Marketing Department. There will also be opportunity for this role to assist with ongoing bank-wide and community focused events to gain working knowledge of how digital marketing is part of an overall integrated marketing approach to have positive impact upon Enterprise Bank's outreach and engagement goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivate marketing and outreach relevant engagement among the bank's branches and departments to support the contribution of content suitable for social media and in-branch digital display screens.
  • Create and execute plans for social media content to be shared via the bank's various online platforms.
  • Monitor and engage with social posts from community stakeholders.
  • Monitor social media performance and conduct keyword analysis to identify viable ideas that could increase our audience growth and engagement.
  • Curate online competitor analysis, and observations to be shared with our internal team members.
  • Gain basic knowledge of website code (html) to help make basic updates to our website pages.
  • Participate in bank-wide initiatives from time to time, including our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion meetings that directly impact external online communication efforts.

This position starts January 2024 and ends June 2024. The person in this position can work onsite or a hybrid work schedule. The hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
