Description
The Field Services Manager is responsible for the day to day field services duties along with the management of the field services team consisting of 2-5 individuals. This individual will be traveling to different project sites throughout the Midwest to coordinate, design, and complete architectural precast concrete repairs; communicate with other trades, contractors, architects, and owners regarding repair work; and manage the individuals of the Architectural Field Services team. This is considered to be a “working manager” role.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- This position will consist of 80% day to day concrete patch work and 20% of management and client interaction.
- Perform precast patching procedures in accordance with architectural specifications and PCI standards. This includes specific concrete mix designs, acid etch, water wash or sandblasting operations required to finish the product.
- Operates a boom lift or climbs ladders in order to access areas of the building that require precast patching procedures.
- Communicates with clients, contractors, architects and internal employees in order to complete work according to Enterprise Precast Concrete standards and to meet the needs of client standards.
- Responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of materials used in finishing and patching and that all equipment is in safe working condition. Reports problems as needed.
- Train new employees and existing employees on proper usage of equipment and safety protocols
- Coordinates a weekly schedule based on efficiency and in order to meet project timelines.
- Tracks project hours and works to continue to improve timelines while maintaining Enterprise Precast Concrete quality standards
- Assumes responsibility for maintaining plant and yard safety in accordance with the Company Safety Manual and OSHA industry standards.
- Assumes any management responsibility including, but not limited to, discipline, performance management, training, and safety.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED but an Associates Degree in Construction is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years working with architectural precast concrete, natural stone, or masonry.
- Previous certification in the last 5 years to operate a boom lift
- Experience operating other construction equipment is preferred but not required
Other Requirements:
- Midwest Travel will be required approximately 75% of the time.
- Have and maintain a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Ability to work with heights up to ten stories
- Necessary computer skills to create field tickets, manage employee timecards, and establish written procedures
