Entropy Brewing Co. is a family-friendly restaurant and brewery serving unique fare in a unique atmosphere. Our menu includes elevated bar food with a Southwest twist and a focus on quality ingredients, flavor, and presentation. Our environment and menu provide options for everyone including an extensive children’s menu, specific gluten-free and vegan menus, healthy alternatives, a children’s playground (yes, inside of a brewery), and a Speakeasy-style cocktail lounge with live music.
Our General Manager responsible for taking ownership of the details to deliver a clean, happy, and healthy experience for our team members and guests. The look good / feel good impression we want to leave on our guests is made possible by paying close attention to the details that bring our vision to life.
As the General Manager you will:
- train, delegate, and ensure the completion of all position lead and team member responsibilities; daily, weekly, and monthly standard operating procedures to ensure proper operations
- recruit, hire, schedule, and manage the performance of our team members
- provide a safe, fun, and fulfilling work environment for our team; celebrate achievements and provide feedback for development and act as the main point of contact for human resources
- create labor schedules that are mindful of profitability, production, customer service and team member needs with occasional consideration for special events and promotional needs
- manage and communicate schedule requests, adjustments, and labor cuts
- take daily/weekly inventory of prepped ingredients, pre-prepped menu items, retail inventory, paper goods, cleaning supplies and back storage
- project and prepare daily, weekly, monthly orders to stock paper goods, cleaning supplies, ingredients and retail inventory based on projected sales, historical transactions, and seasonal flow
- advise and delegate daily/weekly prep needs and par levels according to sales projections
- lead and track on-going training and development for all team members
- educate and integrate the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook, training materials, standard operating procedures, and recipes guidelines; evaluate your store’s on-going opportunities for improvement
- facilitate an environment where open communication flourishes, feedback is valued, contributions matter, and guests/team members are respected
- track sales, labor, and cost of good’s reporting, along with customer ratings/reviews
- keep the restaurant clean, organized, and guest ready
- assist in marketing and promotional events when applicable
- promote, capture, and support the assembly of catering orders
- execute daily operations with our third-party delivery partners
- provide exceptional customer service to every guest and handle customer inquiries
- comply with health code standards and cleanliness in accordance with Montgomery County’s Department of Health; ensure proper functionality and maintenance of all equipment
- arrive on time to work with a positive attitude
- obtain and maintain safe food handler certification
- other duties as assigned
