We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Intelligence Analyst I!
Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst I utilizes a strong understanding of business concepts and operations and then collects, manipulates and analyzes data to dive into the technical details of a data products positively impacting business decision-making.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Solve key business challenges through supporting the development and building of dashboards, data models, reports and data products for Envision Healthcare’s Revenue Cycle Management business leaders.
- Extract and manipulate data and provide insights to business partners to enable the best decisions possible to drive revenue growth, care delivery, and patient and physician outcomes and satisfaction.
- Prepare and present visualizations and stories that make it easy for everyone to understand, trust, and make decisions with the results.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to determine mechanics of meaningful data products.
- Ensure data quality, validity and utility of business for team’s data products.
- Create and complete ad hoc analyses as requested by stakeholders.
- Use automation tools to validate and continually prove the effectiveness of predictive and prescriptive models.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field from an accredited university or college. Experience proving ability to solve business and technical problems. Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management processes is highly desired.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge and experience with the following:
- Microsoft Windows Office (specifically Excel)
- Analytic tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or an equivalent tool.
