Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Credentialing Supervisor on our Alliance Emergency Medicine / Hospitalist Medicine focused team based in Clearwater, FL. The Credentialing Supervisor will oversee day to day operations of a team focused on the full life cycle of the Credentialing process, and will assist in ensuring the coordination of initial and ongoing compliance with regulatory, state, federal, and accreditation standards and requirements. The Credentialing Supervisor ensures that the development and execution of Credentialing and other provider onboarding functions follow Departmental policies and procedures. This role works directly with Client Services, Providers, and external clients to ensure satisfaction and timeliness; generates performance measures; and set goals for the team while monitoring performance against established goals.
This is a remote position, allowing the Credentialing Supervisor to be based anywhere in the country. Must be willing to work an Eastern Time Zone schedule.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CREDENTIALING SUPERVISOR:
- Lead and develop the performance of a team of associates.
- Handle escalated issues.
- Provide performance reports to key customers.
- Lead and coordinate smaller projects and special assignments by planning and identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
- Perform audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, policies and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness.
- Oversee multiple departmental functions.
- Ability to work with multiple departments.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
- Develop recommendations for corrective actions and improvements.
- Prepare formal work products summarizing audit outcomes for departmental review on an ongoing and timely basis.
- Track and trend performance of employees.
- Report on irregularities in violation of standards of practice compliance.
- Work independently.
- Provide oversight relative to credentialing and re-credentialing for internal and external processes for all Envision Physician Services Affiliates, Managed Entities and Subsidiaries (to include primary source verification).
- Adhere to Information Security Policies and ensure that Envision is as secure as possible.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year College or University and 4-6 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- NAMSS Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Credentialing software, i.e., Vistar eVIPS, Cactus, etc.
- Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of credentialing with an understanding of State, Federal, and Regulatory Accreditation Standards, Policies and Procedures.
- Experience in and or the abilty to develop and manage audit controls.
