POSITION SUMMARY
The Recruiter is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and efficiently hiring the best-qualified candidates who embrace Envisions mission and core values. As an integral member of the Human Resources team, the recruiter partners with management to develop and implement both traditional and creative recruitment strategies to attract top talent and assure staffing needs are achieved. Specific responsibilities include sourcing, screening, interviewing, creating and extending offers, advertising/marketing, developing recruitment plans, and building relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
- Responsible for all facets of the recruitment process including, but not limited to sourcing, posting postings, building staffing pipelines and extending offers to candidates
- Consult with hiring managers to determine needs, review position requirements, develop recruitment strategies, source candidates, review resumes, and conduct interviews to ensure all positions are filled within established metrics and that hiring decisions align with Envision policies and are consistent with employment laws and regulations including ADA and both federal and state statues
- Work collaboratively with managers and supervisors to develop proactive recruitment plans that meet current and projected staffing needs, with particular emphasis on difficult to fill positions.
- Participate in and support recruitment events promoting blind/visually impaired and veteran employment: job fairs, virtual career fairs, community organization partnerships, college recruiting, and other creative recruiting events.
- Analyze recruiting metrics and strategies, in order to recommend changes as appropriate, to create a more streamlined and efficient hiring process and reduce overall time to fill and improve quality of hire. Continuously explore alternative staffing, sourcing, and selection techniques to align with industry best practices.
- Work collaboratively with the Human Resources Business Partner, Senior Director, Human Resources and hiring managers to create competitive job offers that align with Envisions compensation and total rewards philosophy.
- Partner with hiring departments, career pathway programs and internal Marketing department to promote opportunities and build pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future recruitment needs.
- Serve as project lead for Recruitment-related initiatives, as assigned. These will typically include projects driven by our HR Strategic Plan.
- Maintain candidate workflow status, correspondences and interview data within Paycom.
- Connect employees with professional coaching and guidance for employee career growth and training as part of the upward mobility program.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local practices, laws and regulations including OFCCP and VEVRA.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field preferred; High School Diploma required.
Experience: Four (4) six (6) years of professional human resources experience in recruitment and selection related activities required.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources management including recruitment and selection concepts and practices
- Highly proficient with an HRIS system; specifically, with an applicant tracking module.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to work with all levels of employees
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking and customer service skills
- Ability to initiate process improvements and manage multiple tasks
- Effective time management skills in order to meet deadlines
- Maintain high level of attention to detail and accuracy to ensure data integrity
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and HRIS systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
