What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School STEAM Teacher (Engineering/Coding) position at Envision Science Academy?
Envision Science Academy, a K-8 Public Charter School in Wake Forest, NC, is seeking passionate and dedicated educators to work in an environment of empowerment with a flexible and teacher driven curriculum. As a STEAM and Project Based Learning school, our teachers integrate math across all subjects, so this teacher will be a part of a teaching team aiming to build experiences for students.
The Middle School STEAM teacher will provide an innovative and engaging learning experience combining Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and and Mathematics for students in 6th-8th grade. Specifically, this teacher will design and implement a technology and coding course as well as an engineering-focused class.
Candidates must have a 4 year degree from an accredited institution as a minimum. A valid NC teaching license is strongly preferred, but not required.
The starting date for this position is July 25, 2023.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
