This is a 2-part Assessment, the first part is a Behavioral Assessment and takes about 3 minutes. The second Assessment is a Cognitive Assessment that takes 12 minutes. Don't be nervous, this isn't a test, there is no "pass" or "fail"! It's simply an Assessment that will help us ensure we consider you for a position best suited for you. It will also be used to help us ensure you are most effectively trained and developed so that you thrive and grow should you join EōS.

As a Facilities Technician (FT), you must possess great customer service skills, a high level of professionalism, dependability and have a positive attitude even during the busiest of times. And, while the entire club team plays a role in the cleanliness of our club, it's our Facilities Team who takes lead on executing all things related to facility maintenance and cleaning. Essential Purpose: Deliver a conspicuously clean and orderly workout environment while engaging our members and overseeing the facility vendor relationships.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Ensures proper operation of all club areas
· Maintenance of (or oversees outside service provider maintenance) pool/spa to ensure proper chemical balances
· Assists with monthly AED and fire extinguisher checks
· Works closely with the General Manager to discuss club maintenance needs and repairs conduct a daily walk-through and maintain detailed log of maintenance
· Maintains the history file on all equipment
· Procure repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment
· Performs monthly OSHA safety checks as required on the OSHA / PM guidelines
· Has been trained in and follows all OSHA, company and Facilities department safety guidelines daily
· Performs preventative maintenance as directed by EōS Fitness Corporate Office and individual manufacturer specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, preventative repairs, cleaning of equipment, testing equipment functionality, and performing diagnostic testing
· Maintains a log of Preventative Maintenance
· Ensure adherence to EōS Fitness IIPP Protocols
Qualifications
· Must be highly organized and able to handle a multi-task environment
· Must have a general understanding of computer skills including email
· Technical skills include general experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment and physical building
· General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical equipment[AC10]
· General Mechanical skills in connection with hand and power tools
· 2 years' experience in operations/maintenance preferred
· Previous experience in health club maintenance strongly preferred
· Must be available for overtime work
· Must maintain suitable transportation. Results driven: ability to set and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment and a willingness to work when needed.
· Naturally strive for continuous improvements in all areas of responsibility
Certifications / Educational Requirements
· Must complete the Facilities Management Technician Training Program
· CPO Certification – Preferred
· Mechanical Experience / Technical School Background
Physical Requirements
· Duties may include physical effort, including the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., bending, squatting, reaching, or being on feet for long periods of time
· Climbing ladders at various heights and RTU assessing
· Ladder Use, Roof Access for HVAC and Roof Issues
Other Responsibilities:
· Managing and executing the duties specified as a role of Facility Technician
· The building, janitorial and equipment maintenance and safety.
· Hire, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff.
· Partner with the GM to ensure adequate inventory of maintenance and locker room supplies.
· Ensures proper operation of all club areas.
· Overall building maintenance
· Maintain and performing regulatory maintenance on club exercise equipment
· Ensure that all maintenance tasks whether through outside vendors and/or internal team are in compliance with company and governmental requirements especially safety and sanitation.
· Manage contractors as needed, including safety expectations
· Develop an overall site asset maintenance strategy and the tactical plans for implementation. Manage the maintenance budget while delivering higher asset productivity through reduction of maintenance-related downtime.
· Measure efficient maintenance planning, scheduling and tracking
· Culture: create a service organization to support the entire facility while driving improvement in people and process
