What are the responsibilities and job description for the AV Technician position at EOS?

POSITION OVERVIEW:
In this role you will provide high level AV and event operations onsite support. This position is responsible for resolving issues related to in-room technology, events and specialty spaces, new office builds, and live hybrid events.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Primary on-site conference room and event space escalation point, with the knowledge and skillset to fix 99% of reported issues
- Provide TD, operator, and/or setup/teardown support for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events
- Primary user-facing escalation point for all AV/VC related issues
- Provide direct white glove support to Executives and high profile users
- Provide strong client level support to users, with a predisposition to de-escalate technical fails
- Commission AV hardware for new builds first day of business
- Maintain accurate tagging and data entry of all tasks, projects, and requests performed
- Maintain strong partnerships with local Helpdesk, Facilities, and Executive Support
- Provide RCA for reported network and technical issues
- Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant industry standard hardware as well as client proprietary tools
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- 3 years of experience in corporate AV and/or AV events support
- Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to be self-motivated and accountable in a fast-pace, independent environment
- Ability to think creatively as well as methodically regarding technical issues
- Strong knowledge of Zoom, Webex, and other conferencing solutions
- Strong knowledge of Neat, Crestron, BirdDog, Shure, NDI, Dante, and other AV/VC related hardware and signal flow is helpful
- Experience with physical or virtual video switchers preferred
- Willingness to learn and adapt to client culture
- Ability to work both independently as well as with a team
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting large/heavy objects and physical integration work
