We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Solar QA/QC Professional to join our team and oversee solar projects across Maryland, Delaware, and New York. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to last several years, as we have an extensive solar projects in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive quality assurance and quality control inspections on small community solar projects ranging from 2MW to 10MW in size.
- Review and interpret civil, electrical, and structural drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform site visits and inspections at various project locations, traveling between sites in Maryland, Delaware, and New York on a daily basis.
- Identify and report any deficiencies, non-conformances, or areas of concern to project managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
- Maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation of inspections and findings.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project quality.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC roles within the solar industry.
- Proven ability to read and interpret civil, electrical, and structural drawings.
- Thorough understanding of solar project construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 10 certification (training can be provided if necessary).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Maryland, Delaware, and New York.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
