As a UI Interaction Designer, you will focus on the smallest of visual details for component design; interactive states, borders, typography, and motion. You will help update and maintain our component library through modern tools like Sketch, Abstract, and Zeplin.
As a designer on our team, you should be comfortable providing multiple concepts and ideas for review with our UI lead. You have a deep understanding of responsive and modern application layouts, creating screens for multiple breakpoints.
You will collaborate with our team of seasoned UX designers and UX engineers to conceptualize and implement beautiful designs for our PeopleCloud marketing product solutions (https://us.epsilon.com/epsilon-peoplecloud-overview).
The ideal candidate is able to collaborate with an experienced team, create effective designs utilizing our component library, and be agile in delivering design assets in a constantly evolving product environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and contribute to the CORE UI component library
- Collaborate with UX to create custom, polished UI mockups for product team approvals
- Build interactive prototypes to communicate and test effective UI designs
- Design new and updated components for the design system
- Pitch multiple creative examples, even for the simplest of requests
- Create new iconography and data visualization assets
- Continue to evolve the identity and visual experience of the documentation site
- Communicate with our development team on design needs and implementation
Qualifications
Essential:
- Portfolio of high-quality, polished design deliverables (UI components, websites, Apps, product software, etc.) that demonstrate user interactivity
- Passionate about UI details: color, typography, interaction states, motion
- Strong understanding of design systems and UI component design
- Design responsive layouts and provide new product screen layout options
- Passionate about creating beautiful interfaces that effectively engage users and push our product identity forward
- Experienced in Sketch, Illustrator, After Effects, InVision, Zeplin, or similar design software
- Strong understanding of CSS/HTML
- Able to effectively communicate with UX Developers and UX Engineers
- 2-4 years as a practicing UI professional
Desired:
- Strong understanding of component design, responsive web layouts, and software design
- Previously worked within a design systems team
- Using CSS to live code and prototype
- Data Viz and D3 experience
- Some agency experience
