What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing assistant position at Epsten, APC?
The Marketing Assistant will assist in the implementation of the firm’s marketing plans, communications, projects, strategies, events and administrative tasks.
The Marketing Assistant reports directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and is responsible for executing any tasks that are delegated in order to help accomplish the firm’s goals.
This is a hybrid position that requires one day per week in the office with the possibility of additional time in office to meet deadlines.
Summary of Essential Functions :
- Provides direct administrative support, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events; recording meeting minutes;
booking travel and accommodations; and mailing and shipping packages for marketing purposes, when needed
- Maintain competitive research and produce Marketing Reports compiling monthly analytics reports for email, socials, and web
- Maintain / restock the firm’s company store and purchase adequate marketing supplies
- Edit, update, follow-up to ensure proper reviews / approvals have been met and deadline compliance for publication deadlines and upload to website when directed
- Calendar deadlines and support the development and tracking of industry submissions for directories and local / regional media outlets
- Maintainence and daily updates to Firm’s Intranet
- Maintain CRM (Practice Master) to assist with updates, list creation, and data entry
- Facilitate email communications for firm events, awards, and handle newsletter creation as well as other email campaigns via Constant Contact
- Assist with social media channels to drive increased engagement by capturing photos, audio & videos at live events
- Assist in all aspects of live marketing events (expo, conferences, tradeshows, etc.)
- Proactively and strategically create social media content calendar and media items
- Maintain calendar of sponsorships, seminars, speaking engagement, and attendees for events
- Attend events when instructed (may require evenings or weekends)

- Be able to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Detail oriented and proactive, geared toward continuous improvement
- Technically savvy with the ability to learn new systems and tools
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), marketing tools and applications, such as Constant Contact, Asana, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Zoom, among others
- Familiarity with social media, email marketing, and search engines
- Strong command of grammar and punctuation while editing documents such as letters, memos, meeting minutes and spreadsheets to ensure composition, contextual accuracy, and layout
Education / Experience :
- Prefer 2 or more years of related marketing experience
- Professional services or law firm experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related major
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time
$23-$30 per hour based on experience. Competitive benefits package including PTO and 401k matching contribution.
