- In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.
- Highly skilled tool maker who makes the precision tools which manufactures use to create their part or product.
- Tool maker is responsible for making precision tools, dies, stamping molds, Jigs, Holding devices and guides.
- Experience in working with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines and grinders.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate large machinery.
