Job Summary As a Sr. Manager in the Equinix GTM Readiness team, you will be responsible for designing technical enablement programs for our Global Technical Sales new hires. You will evaluate the current technical onboarding programs, determine opportunities for improvement and design new programs to drive sales effectiveness for all future technical Sales new hires. Your mission will be to collect onboarding requirements from technical GTM Readiness business partners, leadership, and recent hires and translate business issues into an enablement strategy. You will have direct exposure to Equinix leadership and top talent to execute the enablement needed to support our GTST onboarding needs. You will be a member of the Go to Market Readiness Team residing in the Revenue Operations organization, a fast-paced, innovative, and dynamic team dedicated to empowering excellence in customer-facing roles. With this role you have the opportunity to leverage many of your key skills, including creativity, critical thinking, building personal relationships, technical expertise, analysis of knowledge gaps, and design skills for business results. Responsibilities In this role, you will work closely with GTM Readiness Business Partners and Technical Sales leadership to gather technical onboarding requirements for GTST new hires You first deliverable will be to design a measurement of success for GTST new hires and map our current training programs against those measures You will evaluate the various technical roles and the difference in their onboarding needs to design programs that meet individual requirements and determine a strategy for ensuring program adoption You will lead the strategy and implementation of content offerings for technical Sales new hires by curating new curriculum, building subject matter expert relationships, and ensuring that program content is relevant and up-to-date, and that it empowers the next generation of our Technical Sellers Evaluating onboarding needs for both Technical and Non-Technical Sellers Knowledge of and experience building training competencies and measures of success Effective communication skills, i.e. designing questions to gain knowledge, effectively build close working relationships with various resources Experience designing and delivering technical Sales curriculum both online and in person Ability to differentiate between must have, vs. nice to have needs for Sales new hires Has strong business and organizational acumen and knows how to engage resources to meet business goals Ability to think creatively, take ownership of tasks and adapt to changing business requirements Motivated self-learner with the passion and follow through to acquire new skills Works well in a global virtual environment and adapts learning to the global audience’s needs Own the comprehensive, end-to-end learning experience for all technical Sales onboarding needs. Define how we will measure success report progress against those metrics and drive the program adoption. Work with the content delivery team to ensure the curriculum is developed against the design requirements and meets the highest level of quality Work with the Director of Onboarding to execute the vision of key onboarding skills needed for all new hire roles. Design new technical Sales training programs that accelerate productivity for all GTST new hires Build, strengthen, and expand interpersonal connections to help design onboarding programs that are engaging, effective, and meets the various needs of the audience Qualifications 10 years experience preferred Bachelor's Degree required The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $143,000 to $235,000 California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $137,000 to $225,000 Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $124,000 to $204,000 Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. This position may be offered in other locations.
