What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Advisor position at Equinox, Inc.?
Our Adult Residential Programs serve adults with chemical dependency and/or are living with a mental illness at one of our four different locations in Albany County. The goal of all our programs is to help the residents manage their diagnosis and build the skills necessary to live successfully in the community.
- Holt House - Adults with both mental illness and developmental disabilities that need 24/7 support.
- Apartment Program - Adults who live in one or two bedroom apartments and are ready for less structure and more independence
- Cohoes Residence - Adults who have a mental health diagnosis and need 24/7 support to help control their symptoms.
- Recovery Residence - Men who have both a mental illness and an addiction that need 24/7 support.
Overnight Advisor (Hiring at Cohoes, Recovery, and Apartment Residences)
Anticipated Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday- 10pm-8am
- Must have overnight and weekend availability
Pay: $15.00/hr
- PLUS An Additional $1 per hour for Shift Differential Qualified Hours
Responsibilities:
- Supervise medication administration and inventory medications
- Assist with the cleanliness of the residence
- Complete overnight duty checklists
- Ensure residents are up and completing morning routines
- Monitor residents during sleeping hours and completing scheduled walk through
- Complete SteadyCare calls as specific times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- At least 1 year human services experience
