What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groom minimal travel position at EquiStaff?
About the FacilityThis is a small, high quality Hunter / Jumper program in the Tryon area of North Carolina. With only 14 horses in training and an incredible facility with tons of bells and whistles, this program focuses on quality over quantity in the best of ways! There is an excellent staff in place at this facility, with a highly experienced and passionate barn manager and stable hands to handle the stalls and facility maintenance.
Primarily showing at TIEC, the head trainer here is not looking to travel on circuit, chase down championship classes, or hustle for year-end points which allows for a consistent and reliable showing schedule throughout the year.
There are never more than 8 horses attending a show, and shows never last for more than 2 weeks at a time. Currently the program is made up primarily of jumpers, but that is always subject to change as with any sales-based operation.
This facility features a zero-drama atmosphere with an aquatred, miles of private, manicured trails, indoor / outdoor arenas, private turnouts, and the highest quality feed and care for horses stabled here!Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated show groom to assist the head trainer here in the care of her 14 horses in training.
