What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) position at Equity Staffing Group?
We are seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, document patient interactions, and support the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and document patient care, including injections and preventive screenings
- Triage patients according to approved protocols
- Act as a member of the care team, preparing patients for appointments and collecting clinical information
- Educate patients on self-management of their condition
- Carry out standing orders and document all patient interactions in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Conduct outreach to patients and follow up on appointments and test results
- Answer and document patient phone calls and messages
- Monitor task buckets and follow up on overdue orders and referrals
- Support the Clinical Lead and other clinical staff members
- Precept new team members and maintain open lines of communication with the care team and Regional Management
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN licensure in CT
- 1 years of nursing experience
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Experience with Epic
- Experience in a hospital or medical office setting
Working Conditions
- Adhere to all patient safety initiatives and infection control regulations
- Maintain knowledge of current coding, OSHA, and CLIA regulations and company policies
