The Opportunity: Embry-Riddle is now hiring an International Information System Manager in the International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) department at the Daytona Beach campus. This position is the primary manager of the federally reportable international student and scholar data flows between 3 systems: Campus Solutions, Terra Dotta ISSS Solutions (TDS), and SEVIS, and ensures reporting requirements with federal regulations. The International Information System Manager will reconcile data inconsistencies among systems to ensure integrity of data and timely and accurate data submission to the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of State. The International Information System Manager will be in charge of maintaining all F-1 and J-1 records in SEVIS in accordance with federal regulations. This role will be an authorized school official for student (F-1) and exchange visitor (J-1) programs. They will work individually and with other ISSS staff to ensure compliance with immigration regulations and reporting requirements. They will design, write, and run International Information System queries and reports to support ERAU's federally mandated Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) reporting to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (US DoHS) and to the U.S. Department of State (US DoS). The position will partner with Daytona Beach Enrollment Operations, an assigned International Information Systems Analyst and a Campus Solutions Systems Analyst, as well as numerous business partners to identify and provide solutions to potential service delivery problems and to ensure high-quality service delivery and consistency to students and exchange visitors (faculty, researchers, interns, short term scholars, and exchange students). The International Student & Scholar Services system is currently Terra Dotta. However, candidates with systems experience utilizing Terra Dotta, Sunapsis, or Ellucian ISSS portal are all equally encouraged to apply. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident and must undergo an annual criminal background check process to maintain their employment. Bachelor's degree (Information Systems, Higher Education, or a closely related field preferred). 1-3 years of related work experience. Superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and with extreme attention to detail with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Sensitivity to the unique needs and cultural differences of international students and scholars and the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree.
