About the Role:
The Keyholder is a full-time, in-store position, that helps maintain the superior level of customer service and store maintenance Shoe Mill is known for. You will have the opportunity to become an expert in footwear and foot health and share your knowledge with customers to provide the best level of service possible. The Keyholder position’s responsibilities include:
Opening and closing duties:
- Store merchandising
- Store maintenance
- Maintaining excellent customer service
- Assisting with staff training and supervision when necessary
- Inventory management
- Processing and reporting sales transactions
What You'll Do:
- Open and close the store location.
- Ensure the store is clean, orderly, and presentable to Shoe Mill standards.
- Maintain a high level of personal sales, setting the pace on the sales floor.
- Inform the staff and customers of any current promotions.
- Create a Daily Action Plan with sales goals, stock, and maintenance assignments.
- Assist the manager with employee training and development, ensuring each team member is onboarded in a consistent manner and remains engaged and positive.
- Have an in-depth understanding of all of the Point-of-Sale operations, which are vital to the efficient running of the store.
- Ensure accurate processing of each day’s transactions and inventory.
- Respond to internal and external requests courteously and efficiently.

Experience:
- Retail sales experience required.
Hours and Compensation:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week. Part-time position, 20 hours per week.
- Hourly pay, compensated bi-weekly.
- Uncapped sales commission earning potential.
