Operator Job Description

Duties:
- Dig/spread/level material to designated grades.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment.
- Assist the crew with various duties such as: shoveling, raking, or manually assisting in removal or placement of aggregate, running wheelbarrow, safely backing/dumping trucks or grading equiptment.
- Follow direction of foreman as to daily tasts and expectations for each specific project or jobsite.
- life/carry/hold material, tools and supplies.
- Operate asphalt paving equiptment, rollers, broom, skid steer and loader.

Qualifications:
- Current CDL and DOT health card (or the ability to obtain one)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a tablet or other technology
- knowledgeable in and proven abilities with estimating in paving, landscaping or construction type environment a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
