We are seeking a Radiology Tech to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, operates radiology equipment to assist the Radiologist in diagnosis of disease or injury. May prepare and administer various radiologic medications as appropriate to the nature of the radiologic procedure being carried or performed. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Current state licensure required per state provisions.- CPR required.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
- Graduate from an AMA (American Medical Association), two-year Radiologic Technologic program preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience preferred
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- Knowledge of radiology principles, procedures and standards, including appropriate radiologic exposure times and safety parameters.
- Knowledge of the physical and operational characteristics of radiologic equipment.
- Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
- Ability to calibrate, configure, and adjust equipment and associated facilities and devices in accordance with procedures and standards.
- Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.
- Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
