Job Summary:

• A client of ours in Denver CO is looking for a QA Automation for a Contract Hybrid opportunity.

• looking for talented and creative QA Automation Engineer.
• The candidate should be strong in java which will be used for QA Automation, but also understand the project E2E and the business value of what they are working on, in addition, will need to be versed in Unix for the Ops part of the role.
• The ideal candidate should have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and knowhow to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team.

• This position requires to be Onsite 3 days a week in Office (in Englewood, CO)
• 6-10 years of experience in Software Testing and Automation Testing on Web/API.
• Expert in automation testing framework development
• Experience on API Testing using Selenium with TestNG , jUnit, Data Driven frameworks and Page Object Model Framework.
• Good knowledge in developing REST API tests with Java Frameworks
• Hands on experience in Continues Integration using Maven
• Expertise in CI/CD using Jenkins/Go CD
• Good Knowledge on Java programming language
• Experience in Jira, HP QC or ALM bug tracking tools
• Good knowledge with Agile Software Development methodology, STLC and SDLC
• Solid Understanding in Test Design, Test Planning, Test Execution, Defect reporting and tracking.
• Expertise in implementing Continues integration using maven
• Good knowledge in Maven
• Expertise in Sanity, GUI, Functional, System, Regression and integration Testing concepts
• Good exposure in Bug Life cycle methods
• Ability to perform database testing using SQL Queries.
• Good Team Player and involved in Team Training Activities
• Good Communication and Writing Skills.

• Work with the scrum team to identify testing needs and opportunities.
• Work with the QA team in developing a QA testing strategy for the project, determining the appropriate balance of manual and automated tests, as well as the types of tests (UI, web service API, functional/performance/load, and so on).
• Create test plans, identify testing scenarios, test cases, test data, and report defects
• Identify and define quality improvement factors
• Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of the product and applications
• Develop automated test frameworks and test cases for the different types of tests
• Execute and report on the full testing suite of both manual and automated tests.
• Coordinate with the Offshore team and other technical team members
• Prepare QA certificates and support release activities
• Report status and QE matrices with the client stakeholders and client leadership

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 10 years of QA Automation Experience.
