Aircraft Technical Support Manager

General Summary:

ES3 is currently recruiting a Technical Support Manager to perform various support tasks to include, but not limited to, managing workflows, creating structured plans for aircraft maintenance and modification, parts list development and configuration control from technical data, understanding of aircraft technical data systems, ability to lead teams and train individuals on aircraft repair and modification. This position also requires the individual to be able to read and understand detailed drawings for component and system level designs. This position will require a skill bank of numerous technical skills. This individual should possess good time management skills, be able to adapt to shifting priorities, be a self-starter and able to problem solve. Some ability to assist with sheet metal tasks, and structural modification and repair is desirable.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelors Degree in a technical field
• 10 or more years of related experience.
• Masters degree desirable

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Aircraft structural research
• Development of workflow plans for repair and modification
• Creation of work control documents
• Develop processes for various Aircraft modifications and repairs
• Support the design and prototyping of tooling and fixtures for aircraft components
• Assist with aircraft component and hardware procurement
• Part sourcing

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Manufacturing process
• Ability to read and understand detailed drawings for component and system level designs
• Knowledge of common sheet metal operations
• General shop experience
• Problem solving skills
• Computer and system skills

Work Environment
ES3 is an ISO9001 and AS9100D certified part manufacturer. We have offices throughout the United States. We maintain a professional clean working environment for all our employees. All computers, tools, and equipment necessary to complete tasks are provided by the company. The buildings have LED lighting, heating, and central air conditioning. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday 9-hour days, every other Friday off, 8 hours on the working Friday. General working hours are 8 AM – 5:30 PM.

Ability to travel will be required, mostly within the United States, but some international travel is possible.

Other Requirements:

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
• As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Existing Secret Security Clearance is desirable
