Part-time Game Technician needed for Escape Room Vero Beach!
Escape Room Vero Beach provides a fun, interactive, and immersive entertainment experience in which groups of 2-10 people race against the clock to crack codes, solve mysteries, and unlock locks in order to ESCAPE. We are looking to hire a multi-talented individual to fill a part-time position as Game Technician.
Job Duties include:
- Greeting guests and providing superior customer service
- Some story-telling and presentation of rules and introductions
- Remotely monitoring guests, providing reminders, tips, and clues as needed
- Resetting each room completely and accurately after each game, checking that all props and tech are in working order
- Answering questions from walk-ins and callers
- Cleaning and organizing lobby and other common areas
- Opening and closing store according to schedule
Skills required:
- Attention to detail and reliability are must-haves!
- Charismatic, energetic personality with an ability to play a variety of roles
- Ability to climb up and down ladders and lift 20 pounds over your head
- Reliable and flexible, with availability during weekends and evenings
The following may be beneficial but are not required:
- Theatrical experience or a flair for stage design, acting, or cosplay
- An interest in puzzles and games – even if you aren’t good at them yourself
- Knowledge of software design
- Any creative, design, building, or maintenance person skills
This is a part-time position for up to 15-25 hours per week with plenty of room to grow! Exceptional candidates have the opportunity to increase hours and rate of pay with proven performance. Our work week is Wednesday through Sunday. No previous work experience is required.
