This position is eligible for Eskaton's health benefits package the first of the month following 60 days of employment and Paid Time Off benefits program after 90 days of employment.
Position Summary:
The Social Media Manager works collaboratively with multiple departments/teams across the organization to execute a comprehensive social media strategy for Eskaton and Eskaton-managed communities on a broad range of platforms to increase our online presence and improve integrated marketing efforts overall. Works across departments to establish and execute an integrated digital platform presence and excellent online user experience. Provides recruitment support for posting of professional positions on LinkedIn and social media channels as identified.
This exempt, salaried position starts at $69,500 annually.
Position Responsibilities include:
- Collaboratively plan and execute the social media activities for the organization with the Communications team to align social media channel communication with the website(s), content development, and sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop social media content calendar.
- Strong involvement with monitoring social media analytics to meet the organization’s priorities and objectives.
- With the Communications team, establish the social media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure its effectiveness.
- Working with the Communications team, develop compelling digital content to achieve maximum engagement and cross-promote website content (i.e. blog, quarterly health initiatives, video, ) on social media channels.
- Oversee responsibly of the social media strategy, online review monitoring and response strategy, collection of analytics, and marketing on various websites and social media. Execute digital marketing activities, including email marketing and social media. Measure the effectiveness against set metrics. Inform the team of best practices, content and next steps for higher engagement levels.
- Review, adapt and maintain social media policies and procedures for Eskaton.
- Review, manage, respond and regularly promote online reviews for all review-channels such as Google, Yelp, Caring.com, Indeed and Glassdoor, etc. Goal is to achieve a 4 star rating (preferably 5) on all sites.
- Promote the Eskaton brand using campaigns designed to generate leads and increase awareness. Monitor the progress utilizing HubSpot and Salesforce as the primary web analytic tools, in addition to other tools, as necessary.
- Develop new and alternative ways to leverage digital communications and social media activities. Remain well-connected in the social media world and a member of social networking websites.
- Work closely with Life Enrichment teams to plan visits to owned, managed and partnered communities to ensure teams utilize Google Phones and capture photos of noteworthy events to publish on social media channels and capture any live-broadcast Create a training video and best practices.
- Manage the Hootsuite platform and community-submitted content. Approve submitted posts in a timely manner and be the main contact for the platform by providing support, assistance, and training to community users.
Qualifications
Education:
Associate degree and/or bachelors in digital marketing, communications, sales and/or marketing, or related field.
Training and Experience:
Extensive social and digital media expertise, actively participate in developing a social media calendar, strategic plan integrating activities like blogging, community development and management, social bookmarking, commenting, etc. Candidate should be well-connected with the broader social media world and a member of social networking websites.
Job Knowledge:
Above average writing skills and knowledge of search engine optimization techniques in writing, integrating posts and managing effective posts. Creative thinking with the ability to strategize. Problem solving skills to analyze the best possible way to communicate the company’s message and campaigns on social media sites. Knowledge in social media tools and techniques. Good marketing and communication skills. Tech savvy.
