Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Job Description
Espinoza Law Firm is seeking a Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for law. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fields of probate administration, estate litigation, conservatorships, guardianships and trust administration. This position will report to the Managing Attorney.
Responsibilities
·Provide administrative support to the two attorneys, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars.
·Drafting and filing of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
·Assist in preparing discovery and trial packets.
·Maintain client files and compile information for case management.
·Maintain confidentiality of client files and records.
·Maintain confidentiality of client information.
·Provide support to attorneys such as filing, correspondence, billing, and scheduling appointments.
·Assist in preparing court documents such as pleadings, motions, orders, orders for discovery, briefs, etc.
·Perform other clerical duties as requested by attorneys.
·Maintain confidentiality of client files and records.
·Communicate with clients in a professional manner regarding their cases.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
