We’re Espri, and we pride ourselves on making the complex simple. We get excited about our ability to provide a high-touch service experience to our customers through simplifying and meeting their needs for beverage, industrial, and medical gases. We are seeking a dynamic relationship builder and true generalist in all things HR to join our team as our new Human Resources Manager. This position is expected to be hybrid; some remote work combined with some in-office work.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops and administers company-wide policies and procedures, making sure company is in line with best practices and legal compliance.
- Administers benefit programs, handling Open Enrollment and assisting employees with questions and issues.
- Provides support and guidance to managers regarding talent and performance management, leading the annual review process.
- Serving as a champion in culture – handling employee issues, planning employee engagement events, working hard to make Espri a great place to work.
- Traveling once per quarter (once safe to do so/after COVID) to our secondary location in Bryan, TX.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4-6 years of experience as a generalist in HR – handling items such as talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, employee relations, training, and more.
- Experience working with employees in multiple states/locations; working familiarity with federal and state laws.
- Conducting new hire orientation and overseeing onboarding program.
- Strong relationship building, organizational, and conflict management skills.
- A flair for analyzing data and reports; intermediate Excel skills highly desired.
- Experience working and thriving in an entrepreneurial and creativity driven small company environment.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and maintain a balance.
- Strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
- A self-starter and “can-do” mentality, ability to perform with minimal supervision.
- Conducting exit interviews and the offboarding process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or equivalent certification
- Experience working with Paylocity and BambooHR
