Job Description:
Responsible for the DME business aspects of arranging care with regard to insurance verification, coverage limits and identifying and qualifying medical documentation requirements as applicable. Instruct customers on payer coverage criteria. Responsible for heavy telephone volume and personal contact with the public through answering and referring incoming calls. Instruct customers of all ages on the safe and proper use of home medical equipment and supplies along with related home safety, infection control, and emergency preparedness issues. Schedule delivery and pick up of medical equipment and supplies. Work Experience: 1 year customer service experience preferably with insurance verification or DME experience.
