Superintendent

Essential Personnel is hiring a Leader! Is that you? Apply and find out! We are currently seeking an experienced superintendent! Applicants should have extensive knowledge in commercial and/or industrial construction in municipal water and/or pool projects. This superintendents main function will be to direct a construction crew on various projects in the Northeast Nebraska area. .

Requirements for Superintendent:

• College degree preferred however not required

• Effective communication

• Familiarity with SWPPP records.

• Solid leadership and client relations. Conflict resolution, analytical capacities and extensive construction knowledge.

• At least 10 years of construction experience is preferred, including 5 years of project management experience. A history of leading, developing and mentoring successfully.

Responsibilities for Superintendent:

• Perform accurate revenue and cost financial forecasting to ensure company profitability goals are met

• Fully versed in review of specs/plans, take-offs, determining scope of work, and communicating the same.

• Coordinate efforts with Chief Operations Officer, and Superintendents to manage resources to meet project schedule.

• Participate in bid review and bid closure

• Comprehension of Purchase Order and Subcontract Agreement language with the ability to negotiate terms with vendors.

• Establish and maintain working relationships with agencies, subcontractors, company management, etc,.

• Manage and submit shop drawings and job communication.

• Run projects at profitability levels to meet or exceed expected margins.

• Comply, understand and support company safety initiatives to ensure safe work environment.
