JOB SUMMARY
The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for driving profit growth for Essentra’s Reid Supply business. This individual will provide forward-thinking pricing strategy and management as well as developing and executing processes, systems, and actions that ensure the business achieves optimal price realization and meets market share and market growth objectives for both new and existing business. Responsibilities would also include execution of annual price adjustments, supplier price adjustment requests, market price research, reporting, channel price development and adjustments, as well as special pricing projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Leads pricing strategy development to position the business for sustainable growth.
- Do competitive market pricing studies to maximize profitability of new and existing product offerings at various product merchandised hierarchical levels.
- Leads the development and implementation of pricing systems, process and guidelines for both products and projects.
- Analyzes and reports pricing and profitability on project-based and strategic customer accounts.
- Provides regular analysis and support to Commercial Managers.
- Ensures pricing activities meet or exceed industry norms and guidelines.
- Establishes and maintains business relationships with internal and external customers.
- Process regular channel price deviation analysis and reporting
- Implement and manage the business price adherence policy
- Develops IT projects to meet the business needs of customers. Ensures that IT initiatives are met in a timely manner and within an established process and procedure.
- Identify and maintain appropriate on sale and clearance prices to increase customer traffic
- Coordinate pricing strategies with General Manager, Product Managers, Senior Product Manager, and Commercial Managers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Demonstrate and prove a successful track record in business to business sales
- Highly proficiency in Excel, with proficiency with SQL and Data Management Programs
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
- Commercial or pricing experience.
