Production scheduler

About the Role

Essity Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Production Planner. Preferred location is Bordentown, NJ but this role could also be located at our other professional hygiene manufacturing sites in Neenah WI, Menasha WI Cherokee AL, Harrodsburg KY, or Middletown OH.

This position could also be located in our corporate office in Appleton WI or Philadelphia, PA.

What You Will Do

• Daily revision of the short-term planning and all adjustments on the system if needed (0-3 weeks scope);
• Propose and create supply scenarios together with local Manufacturing and market counterparts;
• Manage expected and unexpected changes in the plan, under time constraints and with limited information;
• Daily liaison with midterm planners to share site intelligence and changes from previous day;
• Secure capacity to produce by also participating in the Raw Materials short term activity;
• Anticipate typical production trends and suggest new approaches for increasing efficiency and reducing waste / scrap;
• Review historical business performance in scheduling to identify specific benefits for streamlining or improving the scheduling process;
• Report efficiency and adherence to the plan in order to contribute to improve production planning effectiveness;
• Prepare the following weeks planning information and present at the weekly planning meeting with manufacturing including midterm planners.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related discipline or non-degreed person with planning experience in a manufacturing environment required;
• Basic Excel skill required, SAP experience helpful;
• Strong organizational, analytical, and collaboration skills required.

Compensation and Benefits :

Expected Compensation :

$50,000 - $70,000 / annual salary range annual incentive bonus benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience.
