POSITION SUMMARY: This role will support Smashbox & GLAMGLOW in helping to achieve their online sales targets. In this role you will get exposure to many facets of Ecommerce including email marketing, retailer.com business, site merchandising, Quality Assurance (QA), design, etc.
Candidate should be highly organized, meticulous, and comfortable with data entry, excel, tools, QA & multi-tasking. A passion for online and the beauty industry is a must. Excellent communication skills & strong attention to detail is also a must.
TEAM / SITE CONTENT SUPPORT
- Serve as a critical point of contact in Global meetings, supporting with detailed agendas, action items and timely follow ups
- Draft creative briefs and work with Global Creative teams to ensure that content and assets are delivered on time for online activations
- Support execution of Global marketing programs, including aggregation of content, product and other promotional items
- Assist with QA of site and retailer sites ensuring high quality user experiences
- Manage and track creative requests to ensure proper assets are received to merchandise site
SITE / DATABASE SUPPORT
- Assist with monitoring product inventory and proactively alert teams of out of stock issues
- Manage new product setup, including technical set up, site merchandising, and uploading of content & copy
- Active merchandising of the site to ensure a best-in-class customer experience - i.e. removing sold out items, moving down older products, removing seasonal copy that is outdated, etc.
- Assist with QA of site promotional offers and the set-up of promos using all relevant tools and practices
- Completed 2-3x weekly site refreshes, including content publish & QA
- Assist with monthly reporting of key metrics & site KPIs
- Become a site tools expert, including outside vendor tools, and work to improve upon tool usage & KPIs
- Support sharing out best practices to regional teams
Qualifications
- Strong interest in eCommerce and website applications
- Strong communicator, highly organized, strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a face-paced environment
- Embraces both big picture objectives and follows through on details
- Excellent at working toward a deadline, keeping projects on track.
- Positive, committed attitude.
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with Google Analytics a plus
- Minimum education level: Bachelor’s Degree
