What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Runner position at Estep And Hessburg Llc?
As the Material and Permit Runner, you will frequently drive to pick up and drop off permits and materials at job sites. This position will also be responsible for assisting with some roofing related repairs and clean up requests. Please apply if you are reliable, have a flexible schedule, and a good driving record.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive to various locations to pick up permits and materials for the internal teams.
- Schedule and close permits.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with city officials and inspectors.
- Effectively manage your daily schedule to complete several time-sensitive tasks.
- Organize routes, drop permits, and/or materials off at on-site locations.
- Communicate with the internal team daily.
- Use company software and systems to maintain up-to-date communication.
- Assist with small repairs and maintenance requests.
- Responsible for various types of administrative work.
- Maintenance of company vehicle & tools.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Construction related background is a plus.
- Effective time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Punctuality and great communication skills.
- Must be trustworthy, accountable, and follows directions well.
- Ability to move, set up, and climb ladders.
- Maintain an understanding that working hours will vary depending on job volume and seasonality. Some weekends.
- Able to lift at least 80 lbs.
