eTailPet’s Sales program develops people to execute on the very best standards of SaaS Lead and Opportunity management. If you are looking for a rapidly changing and growing software company with the opportunity to hone a career in SaaS, this is it!
The Account Executive acts as a technology consultant and brand ambassador as they are typically the first to present eTailpet to prospective customers. You will be responsible for qualifying deals and prioritizing based on fit, seriousness, and the ability to buy. Successful AEs identify and understand each prospect’s unique business challenges, and then design and present a solution to address these concerns.
AEs must demonstrate a deep understanding of the company’s products and how these products will help customers grow their business. In addition, you will be responsible for prospecting for new clients and building your personal brand within the industry.
We are looking for someone who possesses excellent communication and analytical skills and should be ready to contribute to a variety of programs at any given time. If you have the right mindset, we will teach you everything you need to be successful.
This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

What you will do
- Learn the independent pet store industry we serve and the unique customer personas
- Respond to internally generated leads and make outbound sales calls to warm leads
- Develop solutions for Opportunities through the eTailPet’s suite of products
- Reps are responsible for all sales cycle stages, including initial contact after the hand-off, nurturing, quoting, product demoing, closing, and some account management.
- Learn how to anticipate and prepare for objections to increase velocity and win rates
- Commit to the ongoing training program
What you will bring
- 1-3 Years of sales experience
- Experience selling to small businesses and/or SaaS products
- The ability to analyze customer needs and determine solutions for their business
- Closing mentality
- Is a self-learner not afraid to dive into new products and solutions
- A desire to earn his/her keep and not just show up and get by
- Wants to work for a small business and grow with the company
Compensation
Compensation will range depending on performance. Sales representatives need to accept the responsibility and challenge of controlling their own destiny. Commission is uncapped and very competitive for top performers.
